TareProgram 90-Day Pilot Terms & Conditions

Terms governing participation in the Banlys GNSS Correction Pilot Program.

These terms apply to the TareProgram 90-day pilot. The current cohort runs May 1–July 30, 2026; ten places are available. Participation is subject to application review and a signed pilot agreement. The general site Terms of Service at banlys.com/terms also apply to your use of this website.

1. Eligibility and acceptance

Banlys, LLC (“Banlys”) reviews all pilot applications and accepts participants at its sole discretion. Applications are reviewed individually, and acceptance is based on scientific or operational suitability. We may decline applications from organizations in sanctioned or restricted jurisdictions or where we cannot comply with applicable law. Submission of an application does not create a binding agreement. A pilot begins only when both parties have agreed in writing (pilot agreement) and the pilot fee has been paid as specified.

2. Cohort, capacity, and fees

This cohort runs May 1–July 30, 2026 (90 days). Ten places are available. Pilot fees are set by segment: for universities, research labs, government agencies, and non-profit research institutions, the fee is $45,000 USD for the 90-day period; for commercial organizations (financial services, HFT, telecom, and other for-profit entities), the fee is $195,000 USD for the 90-day period. All fees are in USD and are due as set forth in the pilot agreement. Payment must be received before pilot commencement. Failure to pay in accordance with the agreement may result in suspension or termination of the pilot.

Withdrawal and refunds: If you withdraw before the pilot start date, we may refund the fee minus a reasonable administration cost as specified in the pilot agreement. Once the pilot has started, fees are non-refundable.

3. Priority access to licensing

Pilot participants will receive priority access to licensing discussions if the technology proceeds to commercial deployment.

4. Pilot scope

To keep the pilot manageable and fair, the following limits apply per participant unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Datasets: Up to three datasets. A dataset is one baseline comparison or one GNSS clock-product series submitted for evaluation.
  • Time span per dataset: Up to 90 days of data per dataset.
  • Processing runs: Each dataset may be processed up to three times during the pilot.
  • Turnaround: Results are typically delivered within five business days after dataset submission. This is a target, not a guaranteed SLA.
  • Technical contact: Each participant designates one primary technical contact for submission and delivery.

Deliverables per run: corrected residual series (or equivalent), RMS comparison report, and summary metrics as agreed. No source code, parameters, or method disclosure. Corrected results are indicative and provided for evaluation only; they do not constitute a guarantee of performance for any particular application or use case. Detailed interpretation or custom analysis beyond these deliverables may be subject to separate agreement.

Additional datasets or runs may be considered by mutual agreement, subject to our approval and capacity; any exception may require advance notice (e.g. at least 10 business days) as set in the pilot agreement.

5. Accepted formats and submission

Participants must submit data in accepted formats only. Accepted formats:

  • IGS clock files (.clk, .clk.gz)
  • CGGTTS time-transfer files (.cggtts, .cggtts.gz)
  • Structured CSV (e.g. timestamp and clock-comparison or residual columns; structure will be specified in pilot onboarding)

Maximum file size per file: 500 MB. Compression (.gz, .zip) is accepted. Datasets must be submitted through the secure pilot upload process specified in the pilot agreement; data in transit is encrypted, and the upload portal and processing environment are operated with security measures appropriate for confidential pilot data. A short metadata file (baseline, sites, date range, etc.) is required with each submission. File naming should follow the convention provided at onboarding (e.g. ORGNAME_BASELINE_STARTDATE_ENDDATE.format).

Raw receiver logs, proprietary binary GNSS formats, and streaming data feeds are not accepted. Other formats may be considered by mutual agreement.

6. Data submission and warranties

By submitting datasets for the pilot, you warrant that you are authorized to provide the data, that it is non-classified and export-compliant, and that no third-party IP restrictions prevent its processing. Submissions must comply with the accepted formats and submission requirements in Section 5. You remain responsible for the accuracy of these certifications. No export-controlled technology or software is transmitted by Banlys; you receive corrected data and reports only.

7. Use of corrected data

Corrected datasets and statistical comparisons provided by Banlys are for your evaluation only. Use is strictly for evaluation purposes under the pilot agreement. You may not use them to reverse-engineer, derive, or attempt to discover the correction method, algorithm, parameters, or implementation.

8. Intellectual property

The correction method, including all algorithms, parameters, and software, is proprietary to Banlys. No license is granted. Ownership of your submitted data remains with you. Corrected results delivered to you are for your use as set forth in the pilot agreement.

9. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential all data and information exchanged in connection with the pilot: submitted datasets, corrected results, and any technical or business information disclosed. Neither party will disclose such information to third parties except as required by law or with the other party’s prior written consent. Banlys will not disclose the correction method.

10. Data retention

We retain submitted data and corrected results for 12 months after the pilot ends, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data; we will delete or anonymize it subject to our legal, audit, and regulatory obligations.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Banlys shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the pilot. Banlys is not liable for errors in corrected results, loss of data, or any decisions you make based on pilot outcomes. Liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the pilot.

12. Governing law and disputes

The pilot agreement will specify the governing law and the mechanism for dispute resolution (e.g. arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction). These terms are governed by the law of the State of Texas, USA, to the extent not superseded by the signed pilot agreement.

13. Termination

Banlys may suspend or terminate the pilot if you breach these terms or the pilot agreement. Upon termination, your right to use corrected results may be restricted as set forth in the pilot agreement. Any termination does not release you from obligations regarding confidentiality or IP protection. Provisions that by their nature survive (e.g. IP, confidentiality, limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

14. Contact

For questions about these pilot terms, contact admin@banlys.com.
